FIRE Ministry Volunteer Training

Volunteer Training: Engaging with Our Unhoused Community Members This training equips church members with practical tools to interact safely, compassionately, and wisely with individuals experiencing homelessness. Participants will learn how to build respectful connections, understand common challenges, and offer support that helps rather than hinders, fostering dignity and care in every interaction.

While the training is free, registration helps us plan well and provide enough materials and refreshments.

We encourage guests to arrive at 9:30 to stop by the registration table and get settled to promptly begin training at 10AM.
